We are seeking highly qualified candidates to fill the position:

Nordic Commercial Lead Oncology, (m/f/x)
 

The Position:

Reporting directly to the GM Nordics and member of the Nordic Leadership Team, the Nordic Onco Commercial Lead, Nordics primary role is to lead the development and operationally manage the implementation of the product specific marketing strategies for the Oncology business in the Nordics. This will be done in close collaboration with the medical, market access as well as the commercial team. The primary purpose is to successfully launch the product in the Breast Cancer indication with anticipated additional indications of gastric and non-small cell lung cancer.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, motivate and develop the commercial team
  • P & L responsible for the Sales and Marketing
    Produce annual development of a strategic plan
  • Ensure each new potential indication or product is optimally launched
  • Participate active in the Nordic Leadership Team
  • Design short term and long term marketing and account plans to maximize sales and profit growth and to ensure a proper implementation, monitoring, follow-up and corrective actions of those, in close alignment with market access and medical teams
  • Participate in the compilation of the annual budget
  • Keep marketing expenses within the approved budgets
  • Ensure that all agreed marketing activities are undertaken in order to meet sales and profit objectives per product as described in the annual marketing plan efficiency
  • Ensures the right level of support for the customers (e.g. materials, digital etc)
  • Maintain the adequate level of product, therapy and disease knowledge
  • Assist in the evaluation of new business opportunities from a marketing and sales perspective
  • Ensure compliance in everything we do
  • Drive in-market products through its life cycle

 

Qualifications

  • Strong and extensive experience in sales and marketing, focused on product launches in Oncology + 5 years
  • Academic education, MSc, MD, PhD, MBA
  • Strong commercial pharma/biotech experience where experience in the Nordic region is highly valued
  • Strong leadership in commercial roles leading sales and marketing teams
  • Deep knowledge of oncology healthcare systems and account decision making unit dynamics in the Nordics, including pricing, reimbursement, access, protocols and formularies
  • Ability to identify and communicate key information proactively and timely in high quality
  • Continuously expand strategic and actionable commercial knowledge as well as market knowledge
  • Demonstrate strong project management and leadership skills preferably in the oncology setting and with multifunctional teams
  • Display strong organizational and time management skills, role model for implementation of plans and tasks on commitment in time
  • Display strong customer orientation, medical-science based and patient minded
  • Anticipate future industry trends and opportunities, proactively and communicate them to management
  • Proven ability to work in a matrix and multicultural organization
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Innovative, creative (can-do) and collaborative attitude and mindset
  • Fluent in English and in one of the Scandinavian languages
  • Willingness to travel (Nordics and Europe)
