Nordic Brand Manager Oncology (m/f/x)

The Position:

The position is new in the Nordics and the candidate will have the possibility of taking part of defining and describing aspects of this new role. The candidate will be reporting to the Nordic Commercial Head Oncology and be responsible for ENHERTU. The position will play a key role in the Alliance with Astra Zeneca, taking part in strategic decisions around branding and marketing in the Nordic countries, supporting local implementation of initiatives.

 

Key responsibilities:

1. Brand Management

  • Analyze Nordic Treatment landscape, Nordic Market Insights and Competitive Situation and updating strategic alliance plans, accordingly in close collaboration with Alliance partner
  • Support business intelligence manager with insights for patient funnel development, market insights gathering, forecasting and competitive insights reporting
  • Drive the launch preparation for ENHERTU in collaboration within the DS-AZ Alliance, among others working on, executing, and driving a launch plan including cross functional coordination
  • Define 12 months Nordic tactical marketing plans as defined within the operation plan for the brand together with AZ Brand Manager and Commercial Lead and ensure that marketing standards within the brand are applied through common processes and templates
  • Participation in Alliance meetings, relevant marketing meetings and CAT meetings being the Nordic representation in the local teams
  • Manage Alliance SharePoint site together with the AZ counterpart
  • Project management together with chosen vendor on material adaptation and development
  • Define multichannel promotional strategies
  • Adapt and localize Global marketing materials to the Nordics and support the local teams with implementation of campaign materials securing that compliance standards in each Nordic country are met
  • Together with local CATs develop materials to support patients and HCPs
  • Together with medical develop strategic PAG plan and define relevant PAG initiatives cross functionally
  • Ensure that marketing budgets and timelines related to DS investments are tracked and kept
  • Take ownership for maintaining an expert understanding of all relevant clinical and access related information for Daiichi Sankyo Oncology brands, competitors, and therapeutic areas as well as the dynamic Health Care environment
  • Always maintain a thorough understanding of all Company processes, ways of working and SOPs and remain compliant according to company rules
  • Coordination of press releases and communication with local, highly specialized journals for publishing articles or interviews related to brands in alignment with Commercial Lead and Project Manager Oncology

2Commercial / Sales

  • Engages and involves the commercial team in proposed brand strategy
  • Supports development of promotional aids to support the brand messaging by the commercial team in accordance with the chosen strategy
  • Has a clear understanding of the HCP and patient journey and supports the identification of where DS can become a preferred partner
  • Develop omni-Channel strategies together with Project manager Oncology and other internal stakeholders to increase value added programs & services beyond the Daiichi Sankyo representative and to achieve the sales objectives of new launches

 

Qualifications and personal skills:

  • A Master degree in Marketing/Business Development, alternatively, an adequate qualification with relevant experience will also be considered
  • In addition to the industry and functional experience in brand management, the person should have knowledge of medical affairs, market access processes and pricing/reimbursement systems
  • Experience in launching Oncology therapeutics and managing brand management on multiple levels
  • Experience in working in a Nordic organization
  • A patient and customer centric mindset
  • Proven ability to successfully work within a Matrix environment and project management skills
  • Proven knowledge of key stakeholders and key influencers in Oncology in the respective area
  • Project management abilities to lead strategic projects and create a culture of collaboration and teamwork that fosters open communication, constructive conflict handling and a hands-on mentality
  • Broad cultural orientation, experience of working in an international environment and English on a proficiency level
  • High degree of emotional intelligence, displaying candor and authenticity
  • Flexible to changing priorities in a fast-moving environment with no/little structure
  • A hands on mentality and approach to tasks
