Health Economic Outcome Research (HEOR) & Real World Evidence (RWE) Manager, Nordic (m/f/x)

For our client Daiichi Sankyo we are looking for a HEOR/RWE to drive and support optimal HEOR/RWE activities for Daiichi Sankyo Nordics product portfolio to secure market access in the Nordic countries.

Key Responsibilities:

Supports implementation of the national PMA strategy to maximize market access and brand performance 

  • Develop and supports market access scenario planning for new products in close collaboration with Nordic Market Access (MA)/ HEOR Director
  • Supports adaptation of global value story and value message to the national markets in line with product strategy and local market needs together with the Country Market Access Managers
  • Supports the Nordic MA/HEOR Director in developing pricing strategies to ensure target national reimbursement and market access is achieved

Supports engagement with national reimbursement and policy maker authorities to ensure Daiichi Sankyo products achieve favorable reimbursement in line with the set price strategy

  • Effectively engages with HTA bodies in all Nordic countries (together with Country Market Access Managers and Nordic MA/HEOR Director) and supports the development of high quality dossiers to support a price and reimbursement that is in line with the overall Daiichi Sankyo strategy 

Coordinates and supports the preparation of high quality HTA dossiers for Daiichi Sankyo portfolio in all Nordic countries

  • Drives and supports the development of high quality submissions including development/adaptation of cost-effectiveness and budget impact models for Daiichi Sankyo’s portfolio
  • Leads on sourcing country-specific data inputs for economic modelling and provides guidance for the generation of pharmaco-economic data that need to be included in the HTA dossier
  • Effectively manages 3rd party vendors and consultants involved in developing the HTA submissions
  • Drives and supports the preparation of HTA dossiers by providing knowledge on the national PMA landscape and legislation, as well as insights to the specific payer requirements
  • Regularly reviews progress made on the HTA dossier preparation to ensure all actions and work-streams are completed as agreed                                                                                            

Provides guidance for the generation of pharmaco-economic and RWE data required to ensure favorable market access

  • Effectively identifies specific pharmaco-economic requirements of national and regional-level stakeholders in close collaboration with the Nordic MA/HEOR Director and European HEOR lead, respectively
  • Supports the development and customization of HEOR data, cost effectiveness/budget impact models and the creation of RWE

Continuously supports internal stakeholders on market access and reimbursement related topics                                            

  • Monitors and communicates key trends critical to market access/HEOR submission and engagements to all relevant internal stakeholders as basis for discussion and potential action-planning
  • Supports internal education throughout training/coaching sessions and dissemination market access expertise across the organization
  • Supports development of internal training toolkits/negotiation guides for the team under the guidance of the Nordic MA/HEOR Director to work independently – but at the same time work effectively in a matrix setup

Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Health Economics or related discipline
  • Experience within a pharmaceutical company or consultancy in an Nordic HEOR/HTA/Market Access role with involvement in HTA submissions
  • In-depth HEOR technical expertise and experience
  • Strong numerical skills with experience of leading on health economics modelling
  • In-depth and up-to-date understanding of HTA methodology and processes in the Nordics countries
  • Able to identify with Daiichi Sankyo company values
  • Proven ability to successfully work within a matrix environment
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Strong communication, influencing and presentation skills
  • Collaborative, committed and with a positive can-do attitude.
  • Fluency in English and one of the Scandinavian languages, oral and written
